
The conversation below is after a 3 hrs discussion that prior day after being told that they can not fix it and I will get an email. They refuse to give a phone number (most likely because they won’t be able to understand me with the poor reception) and would not let me contact a supervisor. I have experienced the worst customer service ever from Magic Jack! Take a look at the transcript from tech support chat and decide for your self. Look everywhere people HATE THE MAGIC JACK as soon as they get it including Magic Jack PLUS! Magic Jack to me is a good idea ruined by greed idiots and EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF! Its like netflix so amazing but now look at it has nothing but movies from the 80’s an doubled its price! Reason skype is cheapest a service has to work to be called a service magic jack is not a service it is a SCAM BUYER BEWARE S K Y P E owns “Cheapest” Best like 0 complaints lol!! Summary I was misled,lied too and was treated horribly I canceled half way threw signing up I noticed its not what the guy told me on the phone an they STILL CHARGED ME!!! I did not comfirm the order so I called to get charged removed aparently there employees are on a first name basis an do not have any identification numbers or so for according to the rude Customer Service agent I asked to speak to a manager 34 times she kept saying “im gonna hang up on u over an over”!!and I cannot belive I thought this would of been a good idea… When they get all their issues fixed maybe I’ll give them another try. Part of me hopes MagicJacks sticks around because the idea is brilliant. For occasional phone calls or international travel it could be a great solution. But using MagicJack for regular use isn’t a good idea. The idea of getting phone service all year for $20.00 is awesome.

Instead, they wanted me to sign up for another year of service plus buy the hardware again. Worse yet, they wouldn’t work with me on getting a replacement MagicJack.

Once we tried everything the service rep told me to restart my computer, router, and modem. The first hour we tried an array of troubleshooting techniques to get it working.
